 We have an exciting position available as a Hydraulic Engineer Apprentice

 In partnership with Loughborough College

 Metal fabricator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education

The apprentice e will be required to operate in a busy workshop, installing new systems, carrying out general maintenance, servicing of existing systems, welding and commercial vehicle repairs.

 It's an apprenticeship packed with variety, impact and unforgettable experiences!!

• Attend Loughborough college as required and complete a recognized apprenticeship framework to a high standard.
• Ensure and maintain the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others in the workplace.
• Carry out repairs, modifications, rebuilds, servicing, maintenance on a range of Hydraulic components.
• Carry out diagnosis of faults and carry out remedial work.
• To demonstrate skills in welding & fabrication, such as MIG, TIG & ARC.
• Be able to competently interpret engineering drawings.
• Show a full understanding in the use of measuring Equipment.

The following qualifications are attained through this apprenticeship

• Level 3 Technical certificate in Fabrication & Metal Fabricator
• Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations (Workshop)
• Gateway Assessment & End Point Assessment

Candidates will typically have 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent in Mathematics, English and a Science
